Small unkempt motel on Small Martha Lake. Good fireworks near the fourth of July.
Our family stayed here over 4th of July in 2014. We had 6 adults and 2 children. The cabin was spacious with two different sitting/TV areas. There were plenty of beds. The cabin was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with all you would need to prepare meals. The dock with two boats was great! We could fish or swim right there. There is a public beach just one mile into town with a play area and bathrooms. The cabin is right on the ATV trails. We enjoyed taking the ATVs into town for groceries or other needs short trips. There are several miles of trails that that connect in Mercer. We even rode 90 miles one day. Mercer is a wonderful town. There are restaurants, a mini golf/arcade, laundromat, and grocery store. The grocery store in town is well stocked with good prices. We recommend Beaver Lodge Resort and Restaurant. It is just at the end of the cabin's driveway. We had a great week at Big Bear Family Cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a outdoors family friendly vacation.
