All I can say is that our 2 hour tube ride turned into 6 hours of hell. Horrible experience.
My family and I have been going here and renting kayaks and canoes for a long time and always enjoy the journey.
You gotta try Rugger's food...AMAZING! Typical North woods bar/restaurant, you know, the kind that is shown on Triple D! Located on a lake and river.....This is not a Chicago trendy, upscale and expensive restaurant with high prices and small servings of food placed artfully on plates to be served elegantly by a cultured wait staff! Oh no, but great prime rib and shrimp. HUGE serving and so delicious. Check out the homemade potato salad, loved it! Delicious, crispy, buttery broiled bread served that complements the entree and baked potato. Also, wonderful fish fry and the Old Fashioned cocktail and you have a bartender that keeps it fun, but takes no nonsense and a great waitress named Chris. YES! Try it and you will most certainly be back for more!
We patronized this establishment on a recent 4 wheeler trip and I am not quite sure how this place is still operating. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY the health department would pass this place in the condition it was in a few nights ago. The restrooms are inoperable and the smell permeates into the dining area. A glimpse into the kitchen will make you upchuck the contents of your stomach. On the bright side, no one got food poisoning.
