There is not one negative thing that I can find to say about this little gem. We have made this almost our home away from home in regards to restaurants. It took only a short period of time for each waitress, cook, and owner to get to know us on a first name basis and to know our "usual" order. We have tried just about everything on the menu from their brilliant breakfast platters to their meatloaf special. Their chicken is out of this world and their breakfast, my favorite of course, is near perfection and is served all day long. Their eggs are cooked the old fashioned way and believe it or not their potatoes for their home fries are actually fresh and not from a bag full of chemicals. Their omelettes are almost too big for the plate. The cinnamon rolls are designed to be shared. Their soups are always rich and hearty. The parking is not perfect as it is street parking, their bathrooms are a little small but terribly clean, and the actual seating, although vast, fills quickly. Service is fast and friendly. Truly I could eat here daily and never grow tired of it. The only thing missing is a Sunday brunch buffet. If that happened we may have to move to Mercer!
Stopped in for a little lunch on a Sunday afternoon and thought it was okay. Definitely nothing special on the menu here. Appeared to be full of locals, so I assume they like it enough. Nice cafe atmosphere, nice waitress, and okay service.
I got the meat on meat. It was delicious but I could feel my arteries clogging. This place was very cute, with a staff that was friendly to its regulars. It took quite a while for our order to be taken and much longer for our food to be cooked. Cute little, little park across the street.
Was here yesterday. Won't ever be back. Service was horrible. The old lady waitress was rude and had a bad attitude. The food was about good enough for my dog. Prices were way high but what do you expect for a tourist trap. To top it all off who doesn't except credit card or debit cards these days. I would go zero stars if I could. Save your money time and experience and just make your own breakfast or lunch. Will never be back to this place unless it changes owners and it's ways.
Good food, fast service. Doesn't take credit cards so that was difficult. But a nice hometown cafe.
